SSC OTR Correction Form 2025: Candidates are being invited by the Staff Selection Commission to update the information on their SSC OTR Application Form 2025. Since SSC is now allowing candidates to be authenticated using their Aadhar, many candidates have made mistakes in their SSC OTR application forms 2025, and are now having trouble completing the SSC job recruitment application forms.

SSC One time registration 2025 is mandatory to apply in SSC recruitments through the portal including SSC GD, SSC CHSL, SSC CGL, SSC stenographer, SSC constable etc. Most of the details of the candidates are already fetched by the authority automatically through their Aadhar details, however candidate have an option to correct the information available in their OTR as it is prefilled information in all the applications of SSC recruitment 2025.
However it is very difficult to change the SSC OTR 2025 details but, as lakhs of candidates are applying for new OTR and making errors due to new updates in the SSC portal, so the government is giving flexibility to change the miss information in OTR before 30 June 2025.
Which information can be corrected in OTR
Before applying through online mode for SSC OTR correction form 2025 you need to check the following details as you only apply for SSC OTR Correction Form 2025 in the following information available in your SSC OTR Correction Form 2025 detail:
- Correction in name of applicant,
- Correction in parents name
- Correction in date of birth
- Update education qualification,
- Correction in 10th roll number
- Correction in address
- Correction in mobile number and email ID
Apart from this you cannot Correct your OTR number or Aadhar number details. You can only correct your details which are misprinted or mistyped in the SSC OTR 2025 application form, But can only update it if the correct details is available in your 10th marksheet or aadhar card or any other Official Document.
How to correct SSC OTR details?
Candidates are required to follow the following step by some guidelines using their smartphone to correct the details in OTR:
- Visit to the official website of Staff Selection Commission or you can click on this link to the directly https://ssc.gov.in/
- Now you will reach on the new page where you have to click on the SSC OTR login link available on the top of the website
- Now you will see the new dashboard on the screen after login on the SSC Portal ssc.gov.in where you have to click on the edit registration details link
- The new page will open on the screen where you can see all the editable information in the page and after that can collect them step by step
- Now you need to upload the relevant document to showcase the authenticity of your details such as 10th marksheet, Aadhar card etc.
- If you are using your Aadhar card for verification then your details will automatically fetch in your dashboard and you cannot change or edit it.
Once you complete your SSC OTR Correction Form 2025 application you can click on the final submit link where you will receive OTP for verification and after that your details will be corrected successfully. You need to wait for at least 14 days to see the changes in your SSC OTR application form 2025 as authority will verify details of the candidates and after that will mention it on the candidate dashboard.
SSC OTR Aadhar verification is mandatory
However Aadhar card is not mandatory document for SSC OTR but it is asked at every step in the application form to enter your Aadhar card number as it provide The authenticity of the applicant and Also help the authority to complete the verification of the applicant from OTP authentication, face authentication and biometric authentication.
So it is important to update your Aadhar Card in your SSC OTR 2025 and download the SSC mobile application (SSC APP) in your device to complete the Aadhar based face authentication to complete your Recruitment application form on the Staff Selection Commission portal.
